The 10K contrabass mouthpiece is based on the design of the very popular San Francisco BBb contra mouthpiece. I collaborated once again with Wes Rice and his estimable expertise to develop a mouthpiece that is CNC machined from solid rod rubber. This mouthpiece has all of the characteristics of the San Francisco model, but made with much more accuracy to my specs and has that advantage of more presence and power. Still reasonably priced well below Selmer or Vandoren, I have no doubt that this wonderful mouthpiece has no peers.
