Pilgerstorfer reeds are of the highest quality of cane I have seen in years. This well aged “golden” cane from the Var region of France produces reeds that are extremely stable and flexible. Clarinet reeds are available in strengths 3.0 - 5.0 in half strength increments. Reed strengths run to the soft end of V-12s. Not quite a 1/2 strength.
